Job Description

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Baltimore, MD, is seeking a part-time Extended Care Teacher. The selected candidate will be responsible for the care and supervision of children after the school day has ended. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in their care, while also providing instructional and educational support as needed. The schedule for this position is 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday .
Essential Functions:
Implement a program of instruction that aligns with the goals and objectives of the Extended Care Program. Observe students, collect data, and provide feedback to the Director. Maintain confidentiality regarding students, their families, and fellow employees. Ensure the safety and active supervision of students at all times. Collaborate effectively with other teachers, staff members, and school administration.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma and a 90-hour Child Care Certification. Experience in a Catholic school setting preferred. Appreciation for and commitment to supporting young children and their families. Willingness to support the mission and values of the Catholic faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
Pay Range:
$15.00,
