Job Description

Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join a collaborative and highly respected outpatient mental health team. This is a full-time or part-time, office-based opportunity in a growing clinical environment where mentorship, professional growth, and quality client care are top priorities. You will assess and treat children, adolescents, adults, and families through evidence-based mental health services while receiving ongoing mentorship and individual clinical supervision toward independent licensure. You will collaborate with caregivers, clinical leaders, and other professionals in a compassionate practice committed to person-centered, trauma-informed care. What You'll Do Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and evaluate clients' needs, functioning, risks, and recommended services. Provide individual, group, and family therapy, including crisis counseling and referrals for higher levels of care when needed. Create treatment plans, safety plans, behavioral plans, progress notes, performance outcomes, and termination reports. Coordinate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other involved parties to support continuity of care and skill development. Maintain audit-ready clinical records, complete required billing information accurately, and comply with applicable Maryland regulations and clinical standards. What We're Looking For Active Maryland Licensed Master Social Worker license in good standing. Master's degree in social work or a related behavioral health field. Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, time-management, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Understanding of trauma-informed systems of care and evidence-based interventions, including cognitive behavioral, motivational, and brief structured counseling techniques. Professional liability insurance or the ability to obtain coverage before beginning clinical work. Schedule & Coverage Full-time and part-time schedules are available in an office-based outpatient setting. The clinic is scheduled to open in late August or September 2026. Clinicians will attend weekly supervision and regularly scheduled staff or team meetings. Compensation is based on relevant experience and employment status. Benefits are available to employees who attain full-time status. Individual clinical supervision toward independent licensure is provided at no cost.
