Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Current licensure to practice social work in Maryland Educator certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), or willingness and eligibility to secure this credential upon offer Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred Ability to connect with diverse student populations and collaborate with school staff Flexible and resilient, with strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students in collaboration with faculty and families Address barriers to learning by developing individual support plans and facilitating access to resources Conduct assessments, crisis interventions, and ongoing monitoring of students' social and emotional needs Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to support student achievement and school success Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all state and district reporting requirements Foster a positive, inclusive school climate where all students feel supported This role offers the chance to grow professionally while serving students across two school campuses.
