Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Current state licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a school-based or youth-focused setting is highly valued Strong crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills Exceptional ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators Compassionate communicator, skilled in student advocacy and relationship-building
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver group and individual counseling services addressing emotional, behavioral, and social issues Develop and implement intervention strategies to improve classroom engagement and attendance Conduct student assessments and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings Partner with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments Facilitate workshops or presentations on social-emotional topics for students, staff, and families Connect students and families to community resources as needed Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal standards This opportunity is perfect for a Social Worker who is passionate about making a daily impact and interested in working within an educational team.
