9685572-04210 Job Description Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by leveraging your expertise in school social work, counseling, or clinical therapy in a welcoming Pre-K-6 environment. This contract opportunity, based near Auburn, ME, offers a rewarding blend of direct student support and collaborative team engagement. In this role, youll provide compassionate and effective services to a small caseload of 5-6 students each week, with the chance to broaden your impact for students beyond the special education setting. You wont be traveling between sitesyour attention will be focused within a single school. Youll also be an essential partner in IEP coordination, working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for every learner.

Qualifications:

Current Maine Educator Certification Valid Maine state clinical license (LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, or LCPC-c) Experience working as a school social worker, counselor, or clinical therapist Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborating within an educational team Deep understanding of childhood development and effective therapeutic interventions

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct social-emotional and therapeutic services to Pre-K-6th grade students Provide both individual and small group support, including students outside of special education Participate actively in IEP meetings and case management Collaborate constructively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate, confidential documentation for all services rendered Enjoy a schedule of Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, from now through June 10.
