Key Qualifications:

Michigan 310 School Social Worker certification required Previous experience in a school or youth-focused setting strongly preferred Strong understanding of social-emotional learning and behavioral intervention strategies Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to work independently and adapt to various learning environments, including virtual service delivery

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans targeting students' emotional and social needs Deliver group and one-on-one intervention, crisis response, and counseling Collaborate with educators and service teams to identify at-risk students and provide actionable recommendations Offer guidance to families and connect them with resources for ongoing support Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with state/district policies
