Key Qualifications:
Valid 310 School Social Worker Certification required Experience providing social work services within a school setting strongly preferred Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities Proficient in conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and facilitating group or individual counseling Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for students of diverse backgrounds and needs
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver direct social work support and interventions to students in need Consult and collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to promote student wellbeing Facilitate crisis intervention services as necessary, addressing immediate concerns sensitively and efficiently Participate in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans Serve as a resource for families, connecting them with community-based supports and acting as their advocate within the educational system Maintain thorough, confidential records and provide regular progress updates This role features a competitive hourly rate of $85 as part of your contract, recognizing your skills and dedication.
