Job Summary The after-school care worker provides a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children in preschool through first grade. This role bridges the gap between the end of the school day and when parents or guardians can pick up their children. The hours are 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday on school days.

Key Responsibilities Supervision:

Monitor children indoors and outdoors to ensure total safety.

Activities:

Supervise indoor activities, lead games, crafts, and other activities.

Attendance:

Keep accurate records of student sign-ins and sign-outs.

Qualifications and Skills Education:

High school diploma required.

Certifications:

Current CPR and first-aid certifications, or willingness to obtain certifications.

Interpersonal Skills:

High patience, strong communication, and a passion for working with children.

Experience:

Prior experience in working with children in a child care worker role or similar group supervision setting is a plus. However, we will train the right person.
