Full Job Description Summary:

CVHS 7 hours a day/Monday-Friday, occasional evening hours as needed Rate of pay is $37.28/HR Grant funded positions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education, Human Services, or a related field. Experience working with adolescents in school, community, mental health, juvenile justice, mentoring, or youth-serving settings. Demonstrated skill in de-escalation, conflict resolution, restorative practices, relationship-building, and student engagement. Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, counselors, social workers, teachers, families, and community partners. Ability to serve as a positive role model for students.

Duties:

Provide support to students experiencing academic, social, emotional, behavioral, attendance, or engagement challenges. Build trusting relationships with students and develop individualized support plans. Assist with crisis response, de-escalation, and conflict mediation. Support re-entry planning following disciplinary incidents, absences, or other disruptions. Monitor progress toward behavioral, attendance, and academic goals and adjust interventions as needed. Collaborate with school teams to connect students with appropriate support and resources.
