Essential Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university Fully licensed SW or MSW Limited License in Michigan (MI-SW) Hold one of the following: Preliminary School Social Worker Certificate (PSSWC), Professional School Social Worker Certificate (PSWC), or School Social Worker Permit (SSWP) Current LARA license required Background in school or youth-centered environments is preferred Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group counseling to students, addressing social, behavioral, and emotional concerns Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess student needs and develop intervention strategies Participate in assessments, develop plans, and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Advocate for students well-being and help connect families to community resources and support services Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote a safe, inclusive, and positive educational setting
