Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work is required. Must possess valid Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker. Prior experience in a K-12 school environment, with both general education and special education students. Strong skills in clinical assessment and evidence-based intervention. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the 504 Plan Coordinator, overseeing accommodations and compliance. Deliver individual and group social-emotional support for students. Implement behavioral intervention strategies to promote positive outcomes. Actively collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student support plans. Facilitate workshops or meetings as needed, supporting staff and families in addressing students' social-emotional and behavioral needs. Maintain detailed records and required documentation for interventions and student progress. This is a contract position scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, running from now through June 2027.
