Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid state licensure as a school social worker or eligibility to obtain licensure in Michigan Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling and support services to students, individually and in groups Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to identify and address student needs Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in IEP/504 meetings Advocate for students academic, emotional, and social well-being Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
