Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of IEP/504 development, implementation, and documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis intervention skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Provide individual and group counseling to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective support strategies Participate in IEP/504 meetings and help draft required documentation Offer crisis intervention and connect families with community resources Facilitate trainings or workshops for staff and families as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all school and state policies
