Job Description
Position Summary:
The Youth and Family Outreach Coordinator will work primarily with youth and families in the community and those who participate in activities/programs at The Salvation Army. This includes planning, implementing, and assessing Community Center programs, outreach events, After School program, Summer Day Camp program, and act as Kettle Coordinator during the holiday season.Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate Community Center programs and outreach events in the community for youth, young adults, and seniorsPrepare, plan, and supervise the After School program, Summer Day Camp program, Vacation Bible School, Rally Day, and other required denominational activitiesFunction as Summer Day Camp DirectorCollaborate with the Corps Officer to create a comprehensive schedule of developmental opportunities for youthAssist in providing transportation, as needed, for program participants to and from TSA sponsored eventsAssist the Corps Officers with the Salvation Army Christmas Campaign.
