Work is performed in a classroom setting and school environment where the noise level is moderate. Minimum Qualifications/Education :
Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma is required and a Family Service Credential must be obtained within 6 months from date of hire. An Associate Degree in Human Services, Family Life Education, Social Work or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of between one and three years of progressive responsibility or expansive experience in the field of Human Services is required.
Professional Competence and Job Knowledge :
Must have excellent leadership skills. Must be reliable, trustworthy and have good attendance. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have sound independent judgment and decision-making skills. Must have the ability to create and maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff, families and administration. Must have intermediate computer skills. Provide transportation for assigned families in agency vehicles as needed.
