Job Description

Work Schedule:
Determined by need - generally 1.5 to 3 hours at a time including on Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 2 weekends per month.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited master's degree program, school of social work and/or school of counseling One year of full-time experience as a clinical social worker preferred A minimum of six months of experience in a psychiatric setting preferred Experience to include individual, group, and family therapy Experience in writing psychosocial assessments and treatment plans preferred Knowledge of the principles and practices of social work and/or counseling required Adherence to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and/or counseling equivalent is necessary Effective communication in relation to medical and other staff, both verbally and in writing Must obtain Certified Social Worker (CSW) or equivalent, from the State of Michigan within two years BLS, TEAMS and other hospital required training required (available at Hillsdale Hospital) Responsibilities Attending treatment team meetings Providing group psychotherapy Equal Opportunity Employer Education Required Masters or better in Social Work or related field Licenses & Certifications Preferred Masters Social Worker Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
