Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students across PreK-12th grade as a dedicated school social worker. This full-time contract position supports general and special education caseloads throughout the district. With sites located just a mile apart, you'll have the opportunity to travel between schools, collaborating with a variety of professionals to provide comprehensive student support.
Key Qualifications:
Valid school social worker certification or licensure Experience working with PreK-12th grade students strongly preferred Knowledge of both general education and special education needs Ability to travel between nearby district sites as needed Strong communication and organizational skills Capable of building positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social-emotional, and behavioral concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams Develop and implement student intervention plans and support strategies Conduct assessments and support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed Advocate for student needs and connect families to community resources Maintain accurate and confidential documentation This position is a great opportunity to utilize your expertise during the 2026/2027 school year, enhancing services for students district-wide.
