Job Description

Make a positive impact in the lives of students by providing essential mental health and counseling services in an engaging educational environment. This full-time, onsite role offers opportunities for Counselors, School Psychologists, and School Social Workers to lend their expertise and support to students across different grade levels.
Two unique caseloads are available:
one working with high school students and the other supporting learners in Kindergarten through 4th grade, allowing you to use your skills where they matter most.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Educator Certification required for all candidates Social Worker applicants must also possess an active MI Professional Social Work License Experience in school-based settings is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive school atmosphere
Core Responsibilities:
Provide counseling and/or psychological services tailored to students' developmental needs Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to assess student concerns and identify interventions Develop and implement support plans and strategies to promote students' social, emotional, and academic growth Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines Offer crisis intervention and resource referrals as needed Participate in school meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities
