$15.00 / hour Position Details We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic care worker to join our Team!
Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing and leading daily activities while creating a positive, safe and enjoyable environment. Cares for the children enrolled in before and after school care and provide quality experience for the children and parents. Must be able to work 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Supervise children during before and after school hours to ensure their safety Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs Assist with homework and educational support Organize outdoor and indoor play activities Prepare and serve snacks as per dietary guidelines Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Maintain a clean and orderly environment Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts among children Administer first aid and handle emergencies as needed Encourage positive social interactions and teamwork among children Record attendance and monitor pick-up/drop-off procedures Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and organizational policies
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in childcare or early education settings Must be at least 18 years old CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a group of children effectively Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities Patience and creativity in engaging children Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures Background in education or related fields Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset High school diploma or equivalent Clear background check Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Strong organizational skills Must be at least 18 years old Flexibility in working hours Excellent problem-solving skills Must be trustworthy and reliable Willingness to undergo necessary training programs If you are passionate, dedicated, and ready to make a lasting impact on young minds, our innovative and forward-thinking team wants to speak to you!
