Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Position Overview Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker in the Milford, Michigan area to support students throughout the entire 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position will focus on supporting students at the middle school level and collaborating with students, families, teachers, and school staff to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Responsibilities:

Provide social work services and support to middle school students Address students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team Participate in student support and special education meetings as needed Assist with developing and implementing appropriate interventions Maintain accurate documentation and student records Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources Support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered school environment

Requirements:

Michigan School Social Worker Certification required Michigan Social Worker License required Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with middle school students and multidisciplinary teams Compensation for this position ranges from $43/hr to $51/hr.
