This position supports general education students through vital social-emotional guidance, both in individual and group settings. Your expertise will also extend to classroom and building initiatives such as professional learning and positive behavior programming. With both elementary and high school openings available, you will collaborate closely with educators and school communities to foster student resilience and well-being. What we're seeking: Master's degree (required; candidates without a master's will not be considered) Valid LARA license (see Michigan state licensing requirements) One of the following credentials: Licensed master's-level psychologist Limited licensed master's-level psychologist (under supervision) MDE credentialed master's-level school psychologist Licensed master's-level social worker Licensed master's-level school social worker Limited licensed master's-level social worker (under supervision) Licensed master's-level marriage and family therapist Licensed master's-level professional counselor (or limited licensed under supervision) School Counselor License (SCL), Michigan Teaching Certificate with NT endorsement, or relevant preliminary/temporary counselor credentials (with commitment to completing LPC requirements if needed) Role responsibilities: Deliver social-emotional and behavioral support services for K-12 students Facilitate professional learning and positive behavior interventions in classrooms Provide consultation and collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams Participate in planning and implementation of school-wide mental health initiatives Picture yourself making a tangible difference in students' lives, surrounded by a supportive educational environment.
