Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work Current Michigan licensure as a Social Worker Proven experience working with K-12 students within school settings Strong clinical assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to partner effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

Provide social-emotional support to students across general and special education populations Serve as 504 Plan Coordinator, overseeing plan development, implementation, and compliance Implement behavior intervention strategies for individual students and groups Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, families, and outside agencies to ensure student success Address crises with empathy and effective problem-solving, promoting a safe school climate Participate in team meetings, develop IEPs, and support staff in creating effective interventions
