Qualifications:

Active MI LLMSW or LMSW required Preliminary or professional School Social Worker (SSW) certificationmust have prior to start Previous experience working with school-age children, preferably within K-8 settings Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive working independently across multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling and intervention services to K-8 students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans Support students social-emotional learning and crisis response needs Maintain clear documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Travel between designated school sites as scheduled This role allows you to have a tangible influence on youth development in a supportive academic environment.
