Job Description
Job Summary NMCAA Head Start/Early Head Start is seeking a Trauma-Informed Behavior Specialist to support the emotional, social, and behavioral development of children ages 0-5 throughout 10 counties in Northwest Michigan. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, collaborating with staff and families, providing training, and monitoring child progress and outcomes. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or related field required; Master's preferred. Must have 2-3 years of experience working with young children, knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavior management, and strong communication and collaboration skills. 40 hours per week, 48 weeks per year, $23.62-$24.28 per hour EOE.
