Key qualifications for this role include: Masters degree in Social Work Active Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school environment Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Comfort working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team In this position, your responsibilities will include: Delivering individual and group social-emotional support to general education and special education students Serving as the 504 Plan Coordinator, overseeing student accommodations and supporting compliance Providing targeted behavioral interventions and crisis management as needed Collaborating with teachers, staff members, families, and school administrators to develop strategies that foster student success Maintaining clear documentation and adhering to legal and ethical standards Remaining onsite throughout the contract to provide consistent, responsive support This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 23, 2027.
