9666756-48197 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of students by partnering with schools to empower young learners with your expertise as a School Social Worker. In this full-time, in-person contract position, youll be a vital resource for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), guiding them toward success in both their personal and academic lives. As the primary social work professional on campus, youll provide targeted social work services and effective behavioral support. This includes designing and implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborating closely with teachers, families, and school-based teams. Your insight will help shape a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs are met holistically.

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan School Social Worker Certification is required Demonstrated familiarity with ASD as well as experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder Solid background in developing and carrying out Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) School-based social work experience is preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly with multidisciplinary teams and families
