Open Until Filled About the Position Bloomington Public Schools is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and collaborative Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Paraprofessional to join our team at Early Learning at Washburn (ELWB). The ECFE Paraprofessional works alongside licensed ECFE teachers to create a welcoming, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children and their families. This position plays an important role in supporting classroom instruction, preparing learning materials, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and ensuring the smooth operation of ECFE programming.

20 hours per week

Compensation:
Per the Bloomington Public Schools Paraprofessional Contract Preferred Qualifications Experience working with young children (birth through age 5) and their families. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while also functioning as an effective member of a team. Essential Responsibilities Support licensed ECFE teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children and families. Prepare, organize, and maintain classroom materials and learning environments. Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities. Build positive relationships with children and families while promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment. Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance strategies. Assist with classroom set-up, clean-up, and organization. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support high-quality programming. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Participate in professional learning and staff meetings as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
