Job Description

Basic Job Function:
As an After School Care (ASC) Assistant, you will work with the ASC Coordinator to create a nurturing, fun, and stimulating extended care environment for children in Kindergarten - 8 th grade. This is a part-time position for the 2026/2027 school year. Hours are Monday - Friday, 1:15pm-5:30pm. This position offers flexible start times, which is prefect for high school students looking at a future in education or adults/retirees who are looking to work a few hours with kids.
General Duties:
Provide supervision and support an environment that is safe, healthy, and conducive to student learning and building of positive relationships. Work effectively with students in after school activities and assist with behavior management, discipline, interpersonal actions, and act as a role model. Provide regular communication with the ASC Coordinator and school staff as needed to maintain student motivation and remove learning barriers. Provide communication with families of the program in a positive and constructive way. Maintain a clean and well-organized space. Teach Catholic Christian values through words and examples. Report any safety or facility concern to the ASC Coordinator as soon as observed.
