In this full-time role, youll serve as a key partner to students, families, teachers, and administrators, helping students thrive both in school and beyond.

Responsibilities include:

Delivering individual and small-group social-emotional counseling and support Assessing students needs and developing tailored interventions or support plans Collaborating closely with teachers, special education professionals, administrators, families, and outside agencies Actively participating in IEP and student-support meetings, evaluations, and intervention planning Providing support for students with behavioral, social, emotional, attendance, or family-related challenges Linking students and families with community resources and support services Responding appropriately to crisis situations, ensuring student safety and wellbeing Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation Fostering a positive, inclusive, and welcoming school environment Taking part in multidisciplinary problem-solving and prevention initiatives

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) (preferred or as required by Minnesota licensure) Valid Minnesota Department of Education school social worker licensure Previous experience working with children and adolescents is a plus Strong skills in communication, organization, relationship-building, and collaboration Familiarity with trauma-informed care, social-emotional learning, and effective behavioral interventions Dedication to equity, inclusion, student wellbeing, and family engagement Youll find a collaborative, student-focused school culture where every day brings the chance to make a genuine difference.
