In a culturally rich and diverse environment, this position champions the cultural wealth of families, fostering strong partnerships that enhance student success and build a sense of belonging for all. The ambassador helps in the creation and implementation of programming to promote equitable access, meaningful family engagement, and community collaboration.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience working with elementary age students. Computer skills preferred. Flexibility and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a cooperative team member. Positive rapport with children and the broader school community. Experience working with diverse families in educational or community settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with community resources and services. Regular on time attendance is required with the flexibility to work some evenings or weekends.
