Believes in early intervention and the power of supportive school environments Is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families in a collaborative setting Values a holistic, strengths-based approach to behavioral health and student success Key Responsibilities Acting as a liaison between the school, families, and behavioral health services Supporting students with individualized, goal-oriented behavioral health services Providing education, coaching, and skill-building to students, families, and school staff Collaborating with school teams and other professionals to advocate for student needs Assisting families in navigating and accessing resources in the community Completing wellness plans, documentation, and assessments in accordance with agency standards Helping students and families build natural support systems and long-term resilience Driving to school and community locations to provide services as needed Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED required Associates or bachelor's degree in a human service related field preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must qualify for position based on overall CSS requirements in at least one of the options listed: o Qualified addiction professional; o Bachelor's degree in a human services field from a college or university included in the U.S. Department of Education's database of accredited schools at http:/ope.ed.gov/accreditation; o Any four-year degree or combination of higher education and qualifying experience; o Four years of qualifying experience; or o Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree as designated by the Department of Mental Health. Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.
