Recruitment for this position will be handled by the Family Court of St. Louis County. The Family Court of St. Louis County is hiring for a Part-Time (Up to 16 hours a week) Exchange Facilitator in our Domestic Relations Department. The Exchange Facilitator facilitates the neutral exchange of children; receives and welcomes parents and children at The Exchange Center.
Wednesday:
3:45 p.m.•8:30 p.m.
Friday:
3:45 p.m.•7 p.m.
Saturday:
9 a.m.•4 p.m.
Sunday:
4 p.m.•8:30 p.m. This position requires schedule flexibility and will require work on evenings and weekends. $20.00 per hour. Examples of Duties Provide safe, neutral supervised exchanges of children between court-ordered families. Ability to promote emotional and physical safety and wellbeing of all program participants through monitoring and deescalating. Communicate program policies and procedures to families. Monitor, observe and document interactions and behaviors between parent and child(ren) during supervised visitations. Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds including those who have experienced emotional and traumatic situations. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related social/behavioral science required; Plus at least one of professional experience doing similar work with Family Court and/or parents/families; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. OR four years of responsible, paraprofessional social service experience working with juveniles and/or their families may be substituted in lieu of college; Additional Information All applicants conditionally offered a permanent part-time, full-time, term or on-call position will be required to submit to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory. The cost of screening will be paid by the County.
