Full-Time | Day Shift Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights - Are you a passionate SW looking to join a team to improve behavioral health in your community? We would like for you to consider our Social Worker opportunity for our hospital and carry out our vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time. We provide psychiatric care to adult patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders like cognitive illnesses. Our 20-bed private hospital is new in our community. We have recently developed an Intensive Outpatient Program which serves our patients and the community. As Social Worker, you will be instrumental in effectively providing quality patient care, displaying skills in social assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning. The Social Worker will lead groups and work one on one with patients. As a multi-disciplinary team member, you will be expected to participate in treatment teams as an essential role in improving the lives of our patients. Your Role As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in patient care by: Completing psychosocial assessments and treatment plans Leading individual, family, and groups Coordinating discharge and aftercare planning Supporting community outreach and education efforts Collaborating closely with clinical and medical teams
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. BSW at a minimum only need apply, other degrees will not considered . Further degrees a plus.
