You'll collaborate with a passionate prevention education team and become a trusted partner to school staff. Part-time educators typically deliver 12-25 presentations per week (based on your availability and goals set with your supervisor).

You will:

Lead classroom presentations and school programs Build positive relationships with school partners Work independently while being supported by a strong team Document your work to support our mission and funding Participate in occasional special events like health fairs or parent nights Who thrives in this role You might be a great fit if you: Love working with kids and teens (high school and middle school experience is crucial) Are comfortable speaking in front of groups Are organized, reliable, and flexible Have a strong work ethic and a heart for prevention and education Enjoy being out in the community rather than behind a desk Want part-time hours that align with the school calendar What you'll need Associate degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, human services, or related field Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel within our 7 county region is required) Basic computer skills (email, Word, Teams, data entry) Willingness to obtain Missouri Prevention Specialist certification within 6-12 months (we help you!) Public speaking, teaching, youth work, or community experience is a plus — but passion and presence matter most. This isn't just part-time work.
