Position Summary The Contract Developmental Therapy Provider delivers developmental therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth through age three) who have special needs or are at risk for developmental delays. Services are provided in natural environments, including the child's home and childcare settings. The provider works independently while collaborating with families and service coordinators to support optimal child development. Essential Responsibilities Provide individualized developmental therapy services to children ages birth through three in accordance with Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and, when applicable, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work independently with children and families in home and community-based settings, including childcare environments Assess developmental strengths and needs and implement developmentally appropriate intervention strategies Coach and support caregivers by providing practical strategies to promote child development within daily routines Address developmental domains including cognitive, social-emotional, communication, adaptive, and motor development Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with program, state, and funding requirements Communicate effectively with families, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of family dynamics and factors that impact child and family well-being Manage a flexible caseload and schedule while working independently from an office setting Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following fields: Psychology Social Work Education Early Childhood Education Family and Consumer Services Knowledge of child development from birth through age three Familiarity with IFSPs and IEPs Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a community-based setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families in early intervention or related settings Understanding of developmental delays, disabilities, and risk factors affecting young children and families Experience providing family-centered, routine-based intervention strategies Work Environment Services provided in natural environments, including homes and childcare settings Independent, contract-based role with flexible scheduling Minimal office-based work required Contract Status Independent Contractor / Contract Provider Compensation based on contracted rates and service delivery
