Job Description

We are in search of a full-time (Monday-Friday) Floater/School Age Coordinator to join our team! Progressive Sign-On Bonus! Green Mountain Children's Center provides high quality early care and education to children from six weeks to twelve years old. For the last 20 years, we have been operating in Claremont. We will soon be moving to Charlestown, NH. We are looking for a team member who has the same goal in mind as we do. Job Summary The Floater supports the daily operation of the center by assisting in classrooms as needed and helping maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children. Floaters support the overall operations of the center by assisting and covering in classrooms for breaks, planning time, and planned or unplanned time off. Since floaters work with all age groups, flexibility and initiative are a must. The School Age Coordinator role will be responsible for the planning and implementing programming for the out of school time program. You will be responsible for providing a safe, healthy, clean and fun environment and act as a positive role model. This position will require supervising out of school time staff, and daily communication with parents and family members. Qualifications
  • Must be 20 years of age.
  • Must be Associate Teacher qualified.
  • Two or more years of experience in an early childhood setting or with school-age children
  • Must complete required First Aid and CPR training with 90 days.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

  • Ability to give and receive feedback in your work environment.
  • Must be able to work 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
