Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract About the Position We are looking for a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in New Hampshire. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with kindergarten through 5th grade students, supporting their social-emotional wellbeing, connecting families to resources, and collaborating with school staff to help every child succeed. Key Responsibilities Provide direct social work services to elementary-age students (K-5) including individual and group counseling Conduct psychosocial assessments and support special education evaluation processes Participate in IEP and student support team meetings Identify and address barriers to learning including mental health, family, and socioeconomic factors Build and maintain relationships with families, community agencies, and school staff Support crisis intervention, prevention planning, and school-wide social-emotional learning initiatives Maintain accurate case documentation and records in compliance with state and school requirements Required Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following credential pathways: Social Worker Behavioral Health Specialist Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) with job-related experience as a School Social Worker, LCSW, School Psychologist, M-LADAC, LCMHC, or School Counselor with significant counseling experience Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as a school social worker in a K-5 or elementary setting Experience with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and trauma-informed practices Bilingual skills a plus Strong family engagement and community resource navigation skills Why Apply?
