Travel School Social Worker

  • Dec 7, 2026 | In-Person | Plaistow, NH Job Overview Sevn Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel/Contract School Social Worker to join an elementary team in Plaistow, NH for the fall 2026 semester. This is an in-person, full-time contract opportunity running September 10 through December 7, 2026

Travel Pay Package:
$2,300
  • 2,500 gross weekly (estimated net pay equivalent to the take home pay of someone salaried at around $74

Local Pay Package:

  • no middle vendors, ensuring higher pay and transparency Strong work-life balance with flexibility to choose your assignments Dedicated support team guiding you from onboarding through the entire assignment Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs Deliver IEP-mandated social work services and track progress toward goals Complete social/developmental histories, adaptive behavior assessments, and social-emotional evaluations as part of the special education process Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning support Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community agencies; connect families to outside resources Support attendance, truancy, and behavioral intervention efforts Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district regulations Consult with educators, administrators, and families to promote student well-being Immerse as a full member of the school's student support team Requirements Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program•required Active New Hampshire School Social Worker certification, or eligibility to obtain one (including reciprocity) Prior school-based experience required•elementary experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to immerse and collaborate as part of a school team Ability to provide in-person services in Plaistow, NH Benefits Weekly Direct Deposit Fall Semester Contract (Sept 10•Dec 7, 2026) 40+ Medical Insurance options to choose from Tax-Free Housing and Meal Stipends (if applicable) Monday-Friday Schedule (No weekends) Ready to Apply?
