Job Description

Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker for a temporary leave replacement position at William Annin Middle School from September 11, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The ideal candidate will provide support to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, fostering a safe and inclusive environment that promotes personal growth and academic success. This role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and community resources to ensure the well-being and development of each student. Requirements Valid New Jersey Social Worker license. Experience working with middle school-aged children in a school or community setting preferred. Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and social services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
