Flexible (2 days/week) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student-centered School Social Worker or School Psychologist to provide services to high school students during the Fall 2026 semester. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking a flexible, part-time schedule while making a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success. Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling and intervention services. Collaborate with school staff, administrators, families, and outside providers to support student success. Conduct social, emotional, and behavioral assessments as appropriate. Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings. Develop intervention strategies and recommendations to address students' social-emotional and mental health needs. Assist with crisis intervention and provide consultation to school personnel. Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines. Qualifications New Jersey certification as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist (required). Experience working with adolescents in a school setting preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule & Compensation Part-time:
2 days per week Flexible scheduling to accommodate mutual availability Competitive hourly or daily rate, based on experience and credential - Range $40 - $65/hour Benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k) available for those who qualify This posting is valid until filled.
