Desired Background & Experience:
Hold certification or credentials as a School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) Proven experience in school-based case management and/or support services Deep understanding of learning disabilities and best practices for interventions Strong advocacy, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and engage with students and families effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the interim case manager for assigned students, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are addressed Oversee, monitor, and coordinate services for students identified with learning disabilities Facilitate meetings, including IEP development and progress reviews, involving staff and families Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with policy and legal requirements Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding accommodations, interventions, and resources Engage in problem-solving and collaborative planning with teachers, administration, and related service providers This contract role offers the rewarding chance to influence student success while enjoying a flexible schedule that allows for work-life balance.
