Develop and implement individualized care plans that address issues such as child welfare, disabilities, or high-risk situations. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management during emergencies or urgent client needs, ensuring safety and stability. Collaborate effectively with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate social services. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools. Offer conflict management strategies to resolve disputes within families or between clients and service providers. Support clients through counseling sessions, advocacy efforts, and resource referrals tailored to their cultural backgrounds and specific circumstances. Experience Proven experience working with children and families in social work or related fields such as child & family services or child welfare. Demonstrated ability to handle high-risk populations with sensitivity and professionalism. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective client communication, report writing, and team collaboration. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse communities effectively. Knowledge of child protective services protocols, CPR certification, first aid training, and working with culturally diverse communities is preferred. Familiarity with social services systems, crisis intervention techniques, and conflict management strategies is essential for success in this role.
