JOB SUMMARY
The student work study will assist in the office needs of the Social Work and Public Administration Department. They will be responsible for keeping track of student attendance lists, general office work, and other general needs for the department. They will gain valuable experience in how to conduct themselves in a professional environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create spreadsheets on Excel Make copies and scans of important documents for department staff Create promotional flyers for courses Greet visitors and provide them with general information Provide detailed administrative support such as answering phones, filing, and addressing questions Prepare flyers and information materials Track projects and workflows Represent department at student events Interface with professionals outside of SHU as directed Assist with events such as Senior Celebration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
