Our client is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Nutrition Coordinator to join the leadership team at their preschool in Grants, NM . The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, experience managing nutrition services, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality nutrition programs that support the health and development of children. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Full-Time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment Salary $15.13 - $29.81/hour pending education, certifications, and professional experience Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Vacation, Personal Days, Sick Leave, and Holidays Child Care Enrollment Discount Continuing Education Assistance Professional Development Opportunities Responsibilities Oversee the daily coordination and administration of nutrition services. Ensure compliance with program policies, regulations, and nutrition standards. Manage reports, records, data entry, and required documentation. Coordinate menus and work collaboratively with nutrition consultants. Manage vendor contracts, invoices, and nutrition-related communications. Support staff training and professional development within the Nutrition Department. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Degree or Certification in Nutrition/Health is preferred OR 3 years of experience in nutrition or related field Must be at least 21 years of age or older Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
