A contract opportunity is now open for a dedicated and certified professional to support elementary students in a collaborative educational environment near Moriarty, NM. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference through group and individual counseling, as well as comprehensive crisis support.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work Active New Mexico license as a Master Social Worker PED certification as a School Social Worker in New Mexico Strong skills in group facilitation and individual counseling Experience in elementary school settings preferred Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group counseling services tailored to elementary-aged students Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing valuable insight for individualized plans Implement effective crisis intervention strategies in coordination with educational staff and families Develop trusting relationships with students, staff, and caregivers to foster a supportive school community Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and provide targeted advocacy Support student well-being initiatives and conduct outreach as needed throughout the school year This contract position spans from ASAP through May 28, 2027, and consists of 35 hours per week. Compensation ranges naturally from $37/hr to $43/hr and eligible individuals may also access healthcare benefits, plus support for housing and meals/incidentals during the assignment.
