Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students as a proactive support resource in their academic community. This contract opportunity focuses on empowering students, either individually or in small groups, to support their social and emotional development. You'll be based in an engaging school environment and work with educators to address student needs informed by data and grade-level trends. Your expertise as a social worker will help foster a positive and supportive atmosphere while providing direct services to those who need it most. What we're looking for: Current LMSW licensure and eligibility for supervision toward LCSW Experience or strong interest in working within school communities Strong counseling background, with the ability to provide both individual and group sessions Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and responsive support strategies Effective communicator, capable of collaborating with educators and staff Self-motivated and able to proactively identify and address student needs Your responsibilities will include: Providing individual and group counseling to students based on identified needs Delivering targeted lessons or support sessions to small groups or grade levels Collaborating with teachers and school staff to monitor student progress and determine support opportunities Serving as a first responder for crisis intervention when necessary Using data-driven approaches to inform intervention planning and measure outcomes Supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging school culture Contribute to meaningful outcomes for students, develop your clinical expertise, and enjoy the sense of fulfillment that comes from seeing students thrive.
