Job Description

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker To work with clients ages 5-21 in a MHOTRS Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Core Competencies /
Qualifications:
LMSW or LCSW licensed and registered in New York State Bilingual English / Spanish preferred Minimum of 3 years clinical practice Experience with individuals, groups and family counseling Experience working with clients with co-occurring disorders a plus Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills Strong commitment to work in a high-need, underserved community with limited access to behavioral health care Sensitivity to diverse cultural and linguistic populations Applicants who hold or are eligible for a Limited Permit are welcome to apply and may be considered at a lower pay rate.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual/family counseling to a caseload of children and adolescent clients Run therapeutic groups as necessary Complete psychosocial assessments, screenings, session notes, treatment plan and reviews according to Office of Mental Health Regulations Adhere to all HIPAA, Mandated Reporting, and agency Code of Ethics requirements Provide case management services as needed- collaborating with school, PCP, and other associated collateral contacts within the community as needed Participation in utilization review and treatment planning meetings with multi-disciplinary team Communication with insurance companies including completion of clinical reviews, outpatient treatment reports as needed Risk assessment and crisis management Collaboration with multi-disciplinary treatment team
Hours:
Flexible Afternoons, Evenings and Saturdays Salary:
$38-$44/hr based on experience with license, Lower rates for unlicensed
