Job Description

Lewis County Head Start is seeking applications for the following position: Early Head Start Home Visitor (working with pregnant moms - 3 years old) . This is a 12-month position that follows the school calendar for holidays and vacations, excluding the summer months. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Candidates must have a minimum of a high school education and be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate's Credential. Candidates with an Associate or Bachelor Degree are preferred.
Benefits Include:
Starting pay of $16.00 per hour or higher depending on credential or college credits, one paid sick day per month, four personal days per school year, retirement, and mental health support. All candidates must demonstrate competency to plan and implement child and family learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum. Candidates must also possess exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, children and the community, as well as have strong organizational and writing skills. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and hold a clean driver's license.
