• Full-time Job description New Horizon Counseling Center, a thriving behavioral health agency, is seeking Full Time licensed Social Workers to provide onsite clinical services in both of its two public elementary school-based mental health clinics in Queens.

We are seeking LMSWs (Licensed Master Social Worker) or LCSWs (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMHCs (Licensed Mental Health Counselors) with experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents and young adults. This position, which provides clinical hours, is a full time position for a

SCHOOL-BASED THERAPIST

covering two days a week in each of the two schools located in Queens and one day in a Mental Health clinic. Candidate must possess a strong clinical base and experience. Individuals must have excellent clinical, communication, documentation and organizational skills and be able to work independently.

Competitive Salary Responsibilities include:

• Completing screening and intake assessments.
• Conducting individual, family and group psychotherapy (as needed) that is focused and goal oriented as clinically determined.
• Development of treatment plans.
• Crisis intervention.

Bilingual (Spanish) is a PLUS All of our school-based positions are in

Queens:

Rockaway Beach, two school days a week . Ozone Park two school days a week . (Bilingual Spanish is an asset) One day in one of our Mental Health clinics (hours to be determined by needs of the Agency)
