Evening shift, working from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM Make a Difference When It Matters Most Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Social Worker ( LMSW or LCSW) Mobile Crisis to provide community-based behavioral health services throughout Queens. In this role, you will respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises, conduct assessments, provide crisis intervention and de-escalation, develop safety plans, and connect patients and families with community resources and ongoing treatment. Responsibilities Conduct psychosocial and crisis assessments Provide crisis intervention and safety planning Deliver brief supportive counseling Link patients to mental health and community resources Collaborate with EMS, law enforcement, hospitals, and community providers Complete timely clinical documentation

Qualifications:

Must be Licensed

LMSW, LCSW.

Previous inpatient clinical experience in a hospital setting/CPEP, and or in a mobile crisis unit, and or discharge planning strongly preferred. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, high volume setting. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. PC Proficiency required. Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
